The BIG house – when space matters – sleeps 9

The Big House was built in 2016 and so is modern and very comfortable. This double-storey, 4-bedroom house is perfect for large families, two families splitting the cost, or friends. Lots of room with a full-size kitchen with oven, a big fridge and upstairs and downstairs toilets and bathrooms. There is a 70” wall-mounted TV (they can’t be too big can they?) in the lounge.

The Big House is set back from the lodges and is the furthest from the river (57 steps if your legs are as long as mine).

Downstairs with separate toilet and shower rooms:

  • Double-sized bedroom, verandah with table and chairs, separate access

Upstairs with separate toilet and shower rooms:

  • Queen sized bedroom
  • Bedroom with 3 single beds
  • Double sized bedroom
  • Linen (beds made to ruler edge perfection – well maybe not that perfect)
  • Towels
  • Kitchen – full-size fridge, cooker with oven, toaster, kettle, crockery, cutlery, electric frypan, pots and pans and loads of other ‘kitcheny’ stuff.
  • Loads of lounges and single-seat sofas and chairs
  • Table and chairs for dining
  • Television in the lounge
  • Washing machine, with powder provided
  • Clothes drying racks
  • Verandah with outdoor table and chairs
