Find out what people are saying about Wooli River Lodges
We booked 4 of the 9 available cabins/lodges for a multi-generational family gathering, having stayed here twice previously. Geoff is doing a fantastic job personalising each of the cabins/lodges. The access to the pristine riverfront for fishing and water sports utilising the properties canoes and kayaks and SUPs is simply unbeatable. 3 teens, two pre-teens and 4 under-fives were kept entertained for an entire week without reverting to their electronics. The area is remote but has a great pub and bowlo and is close enough to have some daytrips to Minnie Water for breakfast and Yamba for a wander through all its shops, or Grafton for the Jacaranda festival. Thank you Geoff for another memorable stay. PS, the bed linen is dreamy.
Was well worth the money so clean and well presented and so inviting we didn’t want to leave the lodge was very clean and the other guest were friendly and the grounds were lovely and clean and the staff were so friendly and polite too.
I was reluctant to talk about this place as I don’t want the word getting out making it too popular. LOL! From the moment you arrive it has a relaxed and laid-back feel. The self check in just adds to the laid back feel. The lodges are a bit outdated but parts of them have been renovated and moving forward there will probably be more renovations. We had a new bathroom in ours. Everything you need is here. Free canoes, SUPs and kayaks. BBQ area. The BBQ area has everything you need. The river frontage is amazing. Seating so you can fish or watch the sunset.
There is enough space that you are not on top of each other. Everyone I met seemed friendly and happy, which is always a good sign. A short stroll to the pub, which has an excellent Thai restaurant and there is a general store if you need goodies like bread, milk and locally baked choc chip biscuits that were amazing. What more could you want really. A good place to get away from all the hustle and bustle and just chill and be. The accommodation isn’t the Ritz but the place definitely is a hidden oasis. Would love to go back and stay longer next time. Thanks for a great stay.
What a gem of a place. Tranquillity, friendly and so very helpful. Geoff couldn’t do enough to make our stay as wonderful as possible. Borrowed the canoe and went up to the river mouth. Sun baked on the riverbank and cooked our dinner in the camp kitchen whilst the children swam and played games on the lawns. Cabins older style but lovely and clean and had everything in for our stay. Right next door to the pub for a dinner too. Family run business that work hard.

What a little gem! I found this little place for accommodation near the river at Wooli. Very clean and convenient to the pub for great food too. The Wooli River Lodges has excellent accommodation and was value for money. I think I have found a little piece of paradise watching the sunset over the water waiting for the BBQ to do its job. This place is safe for kids and good parking. Thanks to the manager Geoff who helped to make my trip so great. Thanks again and I will be back for sure!
The accommodation at Wooli River Lodges was excellent, well looked after and clean. We had a fantastic time with all the facilities of home. The managers were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. It’s situated right next to the pub so that made it very easy to eat out every night. We found it great value for money and really enjoyed the quiet relaxed atmosphere.
